National Geographic Cinema Ventures announced on Tuesday [12] that it will handle worldwide distribution on the giant screen film Jerusalem, on giant and 3D screens.
The film was shot in IMAX and 3D and will be available in 2D and 3D, 15/70 film and digital formats.
Jerusalem will open around the world on Sept 20. In addition to exploring religious themes, the film from Cosmic Picture and Arcane Pictures is designed to raise public awareness and appreciation of the renowned city.
Tom Tykwer’s German thriller was a breakout for the director and his star star Franka Potente.
Total LA-based production shoot days were down 8.7% in Q1.
“Our real value add now is in terms of international sales,” revealed Oli Harbottle of Dogwoof.
