Network Releasing picks up Sundance premiere from Rezo Films.
Network Releasing has inked a deal for all UK rights to Julie Delpy’s 2 Days In New York from Rezo Films.
The deal was negotiated between Tim Beddows managing director from Network and Sebastien Chesneau, head of international sales at Rezo.
Chris Rock stars alongside Julie Delpy in the follow up to Delpie’s 2007 comedy 2 Days in Paris. The follow up sees Marion relocated to New York where she is juggling a new boyfriend with a visit from her family and a new exhibition.

Beddows commented: “2 Days in New York is a great relationship comedy which we have been tracking for some time. This pre-sale deal was a logical progression for us as we look to bring a wider range of independent film properties to the UK to a wider audience.”
As before, Delpy wrote, directs and stars in the sequel, which she described as “a modern story about the complexities of being a woman and not being completely consumed by your partner.” .
Network will release the comedy in spring 2012.
