TrustNordisk’s action-adventure Escape continues to sell well on promo and is now on its way to US and Australia.
TrustNordisk’s in demand action-adventure Escape has sold to eOne for US and Rialto Distribution for Australia.
Market deals were previously struck with Momentum (UK), Koch Media (Germany), Aurum Producciones (Spain), Film Europe (Czech Republic and Slovakia) and Middle East’s Gulf Film with buyers hungry for the film off promo.
Set in 1363 in a land ravaged by plague, Roar Uthaug’s film charts a desperate fight for survival.
CEO of sales company TrustNordisk Rikke Ennis said about the strong interest from the market: “Escape will be one of our bestselling titles in Cannes. We started presales based on a promo in Berlin and here we are in Cannes with a work in progress-version of the film. Escape has shown to be very impressive, Roar Uthaug is a great director and production arm Fantefilm shows an incredible track record of strong genre films with great international potential”.
