The Simpsons Movie held the top spot for a second week as it continues to lay siege to the international box office, driven by a robust $6.9m top slot in Mexico. Transformers, closing fast on $300m overseas, added $30m from 6,118 venues in 53 territories to move into second. Ratatouille took third after it opened top in nine new territories: in France it opened to $11.4m and after five days had already amassed 85% of Cars' final tally there. Elsewhere, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix and Shrek The Third passed $500m and $400m respectively in overseas grosses. Die Hard 4.0 is scheduled to pass $200m this weekend, while Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End is within sight of the $650m mark. A wave of Asian openers, including D-War, Flash Point, Secret, Masked Rider Den-o, Cash and Naruto Shippuden The Movie have all debuted in the top 20.
