Portugal 's Estoril Film Festival has revealed its full line-up of films for 2008.

Run by renowned Portuguese producer Paulo Branco, the festival will showcase 14 titles in competition from across Europe. Films screening include Claire Denis' 35 Rhums, Albert Serra's Birdsong and lesser known titles from Eastern Europe, such as Adrian Sitaru's Hooked and Mikheil Kalatozishvili's atmospheric Wild Field. This year's jury president will be Catherine Deneuve.

Films out of competition include Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Jean-Francois Richet's gangster film Mesrine, which will open the festival, and Jonathan Demme's Rachel Getting Married which will be the closing film.

The festival will feature masterclasses and workshops with among others Stephen Frears, Agnes Varda and Mathieu Amalric. Tributes to Paul Newman and Bernardo Bertolucci, and a retrospective of Tim Burton's works are also in the programme.

The festival runs from November 14-22.
