London-based Eureka Entertainment has acquired the UK rights to Soul Power from Celluloid Dreams.

Jeffrey Levy-Hinte's documentary about the famous 1974 R&B concert in Kinshasa, Zaire, had its world premiere at Toronto 2008. Sony Pictures Classics picked up North American and Latin American rights.

Levy-Hinte produced with David Sonenberg and Leon Gast.

The film chronicles the experiences and performances of musicians such as James Brown, BB King, Bill Withers, Celia Cruz, and Miriam Makeba. The concert coincided with the famous Rumble In The Jungle boxing match.
