Fledgling Spanish production house, Euroficcion, part of the Europroducciones group, is co-producing an English-language romantic comedy Latidos with Spanish broadcaster TeleCinco.

A UK co-producer is also likely to board the PTS400m ($2.6m) project which is scheduled to crank up in London this summer. Angel Garcia Roldan and Valentin Fernandez Tubao wrote the script which is currently being translated into English. Director and cast are unconfirmed.

Euroficcion has three other Spanish-language films in development including Tiempo De Azucar, a love story from co-directors Juan Luis Iborra and Yolanda Garcia Serrano. The PTS400m ($2.6m) film is set to shoot in April from a script by Iborra and Susana Prieto. The duo previously collaborated - along with Roberto Lazaro, Javier Herrero and Rafael Herro - on the PTS350m ($2.3m) thriller The Legend Of Fire (La Leyenda Del Fuego), currently in post-production at Euroficcion and being sold internationally by Spain's Kevin Williams Associates (KWA).

Also on Euroficcion's development slate is detective story Flanagan, based on the books by Andreu Martin and Jauma Rivera, and 39 Times The First Time (39 Veces La Primera Vez), a comedy based on the novel by Magda Bandera.
