The 17th annualSanta Barbara International Film Festival, which takes place Feb 27 to March 3,will open with Henry Jaglom's Festival In Cannes and close with George Hickenlooper's The ManFrom Elysian Fields.

Among the world premieresare Tony Silber's documentary Arisman: Facing The Audience, Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay's LA-set comedy Bugstarring Brian Cox and Tony Shalhoub'sMade-Up (A Vanity Production) starringShalhoub and Brooke Adams.

Other screenings include WWIIcomedy All The King's Menstarring Matt Leblanc and Eddie Izzard, John McKay's Crush, Peter Care's The Dangerous Lives Of AltarBoys, Elie Chouraqui's Harrison'sFlowers, Mike Figgis' Hotel and Bille August's A Song For Martin.

Tributes include thepresentation of the Modern Master Award to Sean Penn, a salute to AnjelicaHuston and a spotlight on directing with Henry Jaglom.
