One World aims to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding.

Palm Springs International Film Society has announced it will be bringing its ‘One World’ short film programme to San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Supported by a grant from The James Irvine Foundation, ‘One World’ aims to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding. Held through the month of October, each of the free presentations will be followed by a guided discussion about the films.

Executive director Darryl Macdonald commented: “The ‘One World’ programme addresses the Film Society’s ongoing commitment to provide cultural opportunities and access to diverse film programming in communities outside of the Coachella Valley.

“We’re very grateful to The James Irvine Foundation for giving us the opportunity to create this program and share it with disparate audiences in other regional communities.”
