Festival runs Nov 9-18; Zsigmond to be honoured.

Judit Elek’s Retrace [pictured] will be the opening night film of the 11th Hungarian Film Festival in Los Angeles on Nov 9. The festival, which is organised by Bela Bunyik’s Bunyik Entertainment, finishes on Nov 18.
 
The Consulate General Of Hungary is the main patron and Hungarian Filmunion is a partner of the festival which this year will screen 24 features and 10 documentaries or shots.
 
Oscar-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond will receive the lifetime achievement award at a reception hosted by LA consul general of Hungary Ambassador Balazs Bokor
