The Film Society Of Lincoln Center’s handpicked selection of films for this year’s Film Comment festival will include films that are alternately previewing prior to their theatrical release or films that may never come back to the big screen.
Kenneth Lonergan’s Margaret starring Anna Paquin, Morten Tyldum’s Norwegian thriller Headhunters and Joshua Marston’s acclaimed Columbian drug mule drama Maria Full Of Grace will make an appearance at the festival.
Several appearances are expected by filmmakers and cast including Eric Atlan, Sara Driver, James Franco, Jim Hoberman, Kerri Kenney, Kenneth Lonergan, Paul Rudd and David Wain.
“You can never predict what a Film Comment Selects lineup is going to look like – every year the focus and centre of gravity seems to be someplace new,” Film Comment editor-in-chief Gavin Smith said.
