Spanish studio takes international sales rights to Eugenio Mira’s thriller.
Filmax has taken international sales rights to Eugenio Mira’s Spanish-language thriller Agnosia.
The film is being produced by Telecinco Cinema, Madrugada Pictures and Miguel Angel Faura at Roxbury Pictures.
Based on a script by Antonio Trashorras, the film stars Barbara Goenaga (pictured) as a young girl suffering from a neuropsychological illness who becomes caught up in a major industrial secret. Martina Gedeck and Eduardo Noriega also star.
The film, currently shooting in Barcelona, has already attracted a lot of attention from US distributors, and Filmax will present the first footage at Berlin’s EFM.
