French video group Filmbox has raised $1.05m (Euros1.2m) from a group of private investors to expand the services offered by its network of automated video dispensers.
The company, which was formed in January last year by Stephane Chiche, currently operates some 3,000 dispensers located in supermarkets and other retail outlets across France.
It wants to add new functions such as theability to reserve by internet cassettes in individual dispensers
After the latest cash raising round Angel Investment owns 12% of Filmbox. Other major investors include Bianca Finance and Alven Capital.
