USsales and production outfit First Look Media has picked up international rightsto James Toback's When Will I Be Loved, which plays at the festivaltoday (Sept 9) and tomorrow. Sister-company First Look International will beginsales in Toronto this week.

Thefilm stars Neve Cambell as a woman who sets out to explore the outer edges ofher sexuality and gets involved in a devious plot hatched by her hustlerboyfriend. It co-stars Fred Weller and Dominic Chianese. It reaches US theatrestomorrow (Sept 10) in a release handled by IFC Films.

When Will I Be Loved was produced by Ron Rotholz through his UK-based Rotholz Picturesand financed by International Film Collective, which is headed by Robert Bevan, Keith Hayley and Charlie Savill.

The deal with was negotiated by FirstLook's Peter Lawson and ICM, which represents Campbell, Toback and Rotholz.

First Look, which had until recently beenin merger talks with the UK's Content Film, recently added to its sales slatewith the pick-up of Simpson's futuristicthriller Freeze-Frame. John Irvin's The Boys And Girls From County Clare and Nischa Ganatra'sHeather Graham and David Radcliffe-starring romantic comedy Cake whichis currently in production.
