Warner Bros' adventure romance Fool's Gold with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey opened top at the weekend for Warner Bros on an estimated $22m.

Universal's comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins starring Martin Lawrence came in second with a $17.1m launch, one place ahead of last week's champion Hannah Montana, which added $10.5m for $53.4m for Buena Vista in its second weekend.

Fox Searchlight's smash comedy Juno climbed one place to fifth in its weekend as $5.7m raised the running total to $117.6m after 10 weekends.

Warner Bros' drama The Bucket List stayed in seventh place on $5.3m for $75.1m after seven weekends and Paramount Vantage's There Will Be Blood in 10th place has amassed $26.8m after seven and is now director Paul Thomas Anderson's biggest domestic release.
