Fortissimo Films has acquired worldwide rights outside North America to documentary feature CSNY: Dejà Vu on the eve of its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in the closing night slot.

Directed by Bernard Shakey, aka Neil Young, one quarter of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the film documents the band's 2007 Freedom Of Speech tour across the US.

Fortissimo co-chairman Michael Werner negotiated the deal with Shangri-La Entertainment, which also produced Beowulf and Berlin opening film Shine A Light. Fortissimo also has international rights to Rolling Stones documentary Shine A Light, directed by Martin Scorsese.

Renowned for their anti-war sentiments during the Vietnam era, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young used the war in Iraq as the backdrop of their 2007 tour to draw parallels between the late sixties and what is happening today.

Shakey, aka Young, has also made films such as Journey Through The Past, Rust Never Sleeps, Human Highway and Greendale .
