Fortissimo has taken worldwide rights outside Germany to Jan Schuette's Love Comes Lately from zero fiction film / zero west filmproduktion.

The English-language drama, which will screenas anofficial selection inToronto, is based on short stories by Nobel prizewinner Isaac Bashevis Singer.

The film stars Otto Tausig, Rhea Perlman, Barbara Hershey and Elizabeth Pena.

The deal was brokered between Fortissimo's co-chairman Wouter Barendrecht and zero fiction's Martin Hagemann.

'Love Comes Latelyis such a sweet and charming crowd pleaser that it is impossible not to like it. Schuette wonderfully adapted Isaac Bashevis Singer for the screen and shows us real characters of flesh and blood who are just looking for a little love,' said Barendrecht.
