Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Tokyo Sonata, in Un Certain Regard, sold to Korea (Sponge), France (ARP), Israel (United King), and Singapore (Cathay).

Nathan Rissman's Malawi orphan documentary I Am Because We Are -produced by andfeaturingMadonna - sold to France (Fabrique De Film) and Benelux (RCV).

Competition title Serbis by Brillante Mendoza sold to Greece (Seven Films), Thailand (Mongkol), Benelux (Paradiso), and Israel (United King).

Majid Majidi The Song of Sparrows sold to Benelux (Cinemien), Israel (United King), Singapore (Cathay), and France (FSF).

Finally, deals were done for Amin Matalqa's Captain Abu Raed for Germany (MFA); Valdis 'skarsdottir's Country Wedding for Australia (Kojo); and Alex Rivera's Sleep Dealer for France (Fabrique De Film).
