Mitch Yankowitz has been promoted to the position of executive vice president of marketing at 20th Century Fox International, filling the position held until recently by Scott Neeson, who was promoted to president of international theatrical in October.
Yankowitz will develop and supervise the strategic marketing plans of all Fox releases internationally and supervise the Los Angeles, regional and field marketing operations.
Among upcoming films on which Yankowitz will work are Quills, Tigerland, Dude, Where's My Car', Moulin Rouge, Planet Of The Apes, The Legend Of Bagger Vance, Men Of Honor and Phone Booth.
Yankowitz was formerly senior vice president of media and promotions. He joined Fox in 1995 as vice president of media, having served as director of international theatrical marketing and distribution at Universal Pictures.
