Producer Sol Gatti-Pascual hasjoined Film London's micro-budget feature film fund Microwave as a freelancecreative executive.

Gatti-Pascual previouslyworked on films including Glue, L'Annulaire,Joyeux Noel and Noi Albinoi.

She will support FilmLondon's head of production Maggie Ellis is overseeing the new scheme, whichwas announced in February.

The BBC-backed Microwaveprogramme will work with film-makers shooting features of budgets up to $189,000 (£100,000).

"In pioneering this scheme,Film London has identified, and acted upon, the zeitgeist in independentfilm-making," said Gatti-Pascual. "I am tremendously excited at beingpart of a scheme that will boost this sector in the UK by offeringLondon-based talent an opportunity to work within a supportiveenvironment; where training, mentors, and years of expertise will be availableas they take their first steps into the feature-length format."

Gatti-Pascual will alsocontinue to develop projects through independent production company The Bureau.
