On the first day of Filmart, Taiwan's CMC Entertainment has sold gangster epic Blood Brothers to Hong Kong distributor Golden Scene. The debut film by Alexi Tan will open across Chinese-language territories in August.
'Golden Scene is known for distributing high quality commercial pictures,' said producer Terence Chang. 'I look forward to working with Winnie [Tsang] to turn Blood Brothers into a big hit in Hong Kong.'
CMC who launched Asian sales of the film at Filmart has previously concluded deals with China's Huayi Brothers, South Korea's M&FC and strategic partner Fox in Taiwan. Fortissimo Films handle territories outside Asia.
