Golem has taken Spanish rights to four titles, including Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Un Certain Regard title Air Doll and Catherine Corsini’s drama Partir (Leaving).

Golem sealed the deal with sales outfit Fortissimo for Air Doll, which is based on the manga The Pneumatic Figure Of A Girl, about a life-size blow-up doll that develops a soul and falls in love with a video store clerk. Ocean Films has already taken French rights and Asmik Ace Entertainment will handle Japanese distribution of the film.

The Spanish distributor also picked three French titles at the market in Cannes, including former Palme d’Or nominee Corsini’s drama starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Sergi Lopez, and Emmanuel Mouret’s comedy Fait Moi Plaisir from Pyramide International. Meanwhile, it has also acquired Cecile Telerman’s Quelque Choise A Te Dire, starring Charlotte Rampling, from Studio Canal.

As reported on ScreenDaily, Golem also picked up Spanish rights to Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist and Michael Haneke’s Palme d’Or winner The White Ribbon.
