UK-based sales company HighPoint Films has nabbed worldwide rights to Dutch horror film Slaughter Night.

Directorial duo Edwin Visserand Frank van Geloven created the film about young friends who encounter anevil spirit in a disused mine. Amsterdam-based Martin Lagestee of Lagestee Filmproduced.

High Point is sellingthe film in Pusan, followed by the Toronto AfterDark Festival and a sneak preview at the AFM.

"SlaughterNight delivers on every level that a successful, international horror filmshould deliver on. What struck us immediately is just how visually strong thefilm is, which is ideal for an international audience," said High Point founder Ronald de Neef.

De Neef worked oninternational sales for Dario Argento in the 1980s and High Point has also represented other horror projects fromStephen King and George Romero.
