Serbian outfit Dream Company, which produced local hit Zamfir's Zona, is producing a new film, a World War II comedy The Robbery Of The Third Reich.

Zamfir's Zona has grossed a total of $2m to date. Producer Miroslav Mitic is reuniting with Zona's writer/director Zdravko Sotra, and most of the Zona's main cast, on the new film.

Principal photography of the buddy-comedy about two petty thieves trying to make it in Berlin in 1941 started on Aug 28 in Nis and will last until Oct 2 in Serbia.

Mitic has already sold the film to Zona distributor Mirius. The film's reported budget of $2m (DINARS 130m) is far above the territory's average.
