Samantha Horley has beenappointed head of sales at international sales outfit Lumina Films, which willnow base its operations in London

Horley takes over fromMarina Fuentes who will remain as a consultant, focusing on production, basedin Madrid.

Horley was formerly seniorVP distribution at Myriad Pictures, VP sales at Summit Entertainment and priorto that, at PolyGram Film International.

Lumina Films is part of theInternational Film Collective (IFC) group of companies which also includesproduction outfit Buena Onda.

Lumina Films will act assales agent for Buena Onda projects and will soon confirm a new line-up ofUK-based productions and co-productions with access to development andproduction finance through IFC.

Lumina will bring itsrevamped operation to AFM in November where it will present PabloTrapero's road movie Familia Rodante.

Lumina will also bescreening additional footage from Midsummer Dream, the Euros 8m CGI animated feature based onShakespeare's classic which is currently in production at Dygra'sanimation studios in Spain.
