Two of Hungary'spremiere arthouse distributors acquired high profile titles at this year'sCannes Film Festival.

Best Hollywoodbought rights to Wim Wenders' Don't Come Knocking and to Jim Jarmusch's BrokenFlowers. Both films are to hit the Hungarian cinemas this autumn.

Meanwhile, BudapestFilm has acquired a long list of titles including Michael Haneke's Hiddenand Lars von Trier's Manderlay. Both titles will be released in early2006.

Budapest also boughtFrancois Ozon's Time To Leave and pre-bought Pedro Almodovar's Volver(to be released in Hungary in the autumn of 2006) and David Lynch's InlandEmpire.

Budapest Film alsobought the Hungarian rights for Robert Altman's star-loaded Prairie HomeCompanion which stars Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Michelle Pfeiffer andWoody Harrelson and Christopher Boe's Allegro with Ulrich Thomsen andHelene Christensen.
