Fresh from its success with Hungarian Film Week winner Taxidermia, Eurofilm Studio, the Hungarian production outfit run byPeter Miskolczi and Gabor Varadi, has attached Oscar nominee Paul Giamattiand Clemence Poesy to head the cast of Ildiko Enyedi's next film Tender Interface.

The English language sci-fi film, scheduled toshoot in the first half of the year, is about a younggirl playing video games who gets dragged back in time to 1939 New York City where the H-bomb is being devised byHungarian scientists.

Scott Anderson's LA-based effects company Digital Sandbox,which has credits including I, Robot, King Kongand Superman Returns, will create thedigital look of the film.

Miskolczi and Varadiare in Berlin meeting on theproject as well as on another English-language picture, Cobblestone which will be directed by GyulaGazdag (AHungarian Fairy Tale).

Other films on the Eurofilm slateare another Enyedi film The Story Of My Wife based on Milan Fust'scelebrated novel and a film of local bestseller Finno-Ugrian Vampire directed by Janos Xantus,

2006 will be a busy year for Eurofilm,which is the Hungarian co-production partner on three large-scale Europeanpictures Countess Bathorystarring Famke Janssen, Mike Figgis'The Nazi Officer's Wife which has EvaGreen set to star and Hans Petter Moland'splanned film of Aldous Huxley's The Genius And The Goddess which hasscheduled a summer shoot in Hungary.

The company has also signed on to the first everBrazilian-Hungarian co-production called Budapestbased on the novel by Chico Buarque and Alison Entrekin about a ghost writer from Brazilwho becomes bewitched by Budapestin the 1930s.
