Icon Entertainment International has struck a deal with the New Zealand Film Commission to represent 24 library titles for world sales outside of the Asia Pacific region.

The Commission expects that Icon will represent many other library titles after agreements have been struck with relevant producers.

Titles covered under the initial deal include Jane Campion's An Angel At My Table, Brad McGann's In My Father's Den and Roger Donaldson's Sleeping Dogs.

'New Zealand cinema has long been renowned for its independence, originality and diversity, and nowhere is this more evident than in this colourful selection of features, spanning all genres. We're very excited to add these titles to our library' said newly appointed president of Icon Entertainment International Ariel Veneziano.

'I'm thrilled that the New Zealand library is being represented by Icon; a company at the forefront of delivering quality cinema to a global audience' said Kathleen Drumm, head of sales and marketing at The New Zealand Film Commission.
