UK consultancy Initialize Films, which held its first Co-Production Meeting Day at Berlin, is now seeing its group of producers confirming deals in Cannes.

Paul Largan of Bandigital is now working with Gia Muresan of Cinemarket Productions for Largan's $6m The Undefended. Also, Swiss producer Christophe Neracher of Hugo Films has come on board Bindu de Stoppani's Jump with Emily Man of Manmade Films.

The Co-Production Lab is sponsored by Skillset and Olswang and included 17 UK producers, including Better Things producer Samm Haillay.

Also, Initialize will partner with the Scottish Documentary Institute to fun Interdoc, a documentary financing programme that was started in 2006.

Initialize course director Ian Davie: 'SDI has shown its commitment to documentary makers through outstanding programmes such as Bridging the Gap. We are delighted that they have come on board as partners on this programme.'

Interdoc is supported by Skillset, with additional support from Edinburgh Film Focus and the Sheffield International Documentary Festival.
