Israeli Theatres Cinemas has announced a reduction in ticket prices across its entire circuit for the whole summer season (until end September) and for all shows, by 22.5%.
Instead of the present $7.50 the price of a single ticket will be $5.80 for the period. Israeli Cinemas, one of the two largest cinema chains in the country with 120 screens, has been spreading its wings in recent years, especially in Eastern Europe with multiplexes in Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Lev Cinemas (22 screens) was also going to join in the initiative, but withdrew at the last moment, claiming the members of its cine-club scheme already benefit from sizeable discounts.
