Denzel Washington thriller Out Of Time opened at number three on what proved to be anothertepid weekend at the Italian box office.

While the box office competed with soaring temperatures andthe appeal of the Euro 2004 football matches, the Medusa thriller opened on 239screens but in spite of a strong promotional campaign, grossed only $481,488for a weak screen average of $2,015.

Columbia Tristar's 50 First Dates opened slightly better,earning $371,280 from 131 screens for an average of $2,834 per screen.

Italian actress Valeria Bruni Tedeschi'ssemi-autobiographical directorial debut, It'sEasier For A Camel, opened at number eleven on 26 screens, earning $42,995for Mikado Film.
