Italian distributor Bim Distribuzione bought three more official selection films yesterday, bringing its total haul to nine so far this market.
Bim picked up Aki Kaurismaki's competition title The Man Without A Past from Bavaria Film, Nicolas Philibert's Un Certain Regard title Etre Et Avoir from Mercure and Director's Fortnight title L'Auberge Espanol from Wild Bunch.
Earlier buys included Un Certain Regard film Marie Jo Et Ses Deux Amours from Mercure. Competition films include Ken Loach's Sweet Sixteen from The Works, Gaspar Noe's Irreversible from Wild Bunch, Abbas Kiarostami's Ten from MK2, Atom Egoyan's Ararat from Alliance Atlantis. It also co-produced competition film Amos Gitai's Kedma, which is sold in other territories by MK2.
