Producer Matthew Justice has been appointed as consultant to Invicta Capital, the recently-launched film investor and tax advisor.

Justice, whose credits include Stephen Norrington pictures Blade and The Last Minute, is expected to bring UK qualifying projects to Invicta's Invicta Filmworks offshoot. Partially-based in Los Angeles, Justice may also become involved in a number of other Canadian and European co-productions.

Invicta now intends to move into gap finance and financial structuring, having so far focused on tax-efficient sale and leaseback transactions. The operation, formed earlier this year under Mohammed Yusef with Niall Bamford, has credits which include Band Of Brothers.

The non-exclusive arrangement with Justice allows the producer to continue developing his own projects - with Norrington, under their jointly owned Venom Entertainment label, and with other directors under his Driftwood banner.
