Kate Winslet will receive the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's Montecito Award on January 23.

The five-time Oscar nominee is a contender this awards season for The Reader and Revolutionary Road and receives the award in recognition of her 'series of classic and standout performances.'

Her credits include Sense And Sensibility, Quills, Heavenly Creatures, Little Children, Titanic and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

'I have had a cinematic crush on Kate Winslet since her first movie,' SBIFF director Roger Durling said. 'She's my favorite actress of all time and she will always have a home here at the festival.'

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is set to run from January 22-February 1.
