Kevin Bacon has signed star alongside Charlize Theron and Courtney Love in Luis Mandoki's latest picture 24 Hours which is being produced by The Canton Company, Mandolin Entertainment and Propaganda Films.
A thriller about a family in jeopardy, the film is produced by Mimi Polk Gitlin and Mandoki and executive produced by Mark Canton, Hanno Huth, Glen Ballard and Rick Hess. Ballard will also produce and create the film's soundtrack.
Nathan Kahane will oversee the project for The Canton Co, Tanna Thompson will oversee for Mandolin. Don Roos is currently polishing the screenplay by Greg Iles. It is based on Iles' recently published novel.
The film is part of Canton's five year deal with Huth's Senator Entertainment to develop and finance four to six films a year.
Bacon's recent credits include Hollow Man, My Dog Skip, Stir Of Echoes, Wild Things, Digging To China and the upcoming Novocaine.
