Thismonth, Kirsten Dalgaard will leave her job as head ofCamera Film, Denmark's leading art-housedistributor, to join Nordisk Film.

Asof August 1, Dalgaard will begin a new position in the new sales and marketing division of Nordisk, which is expanding its work with independentfilms.

"Ilook forward to continue working with art-house movies from a much broader platform,"Dalgaard says. "In my new job I will be working morevertically not only buying the films but also seeing their way through to theright theatres all over Scandinavia."

Nordisk has started a number of changes recently, byestablishing three new company divisions: sales and marketing, content andsupport. Nordisk hopes that this more verticalstructure will help to further exploit its catalogue and ensure profitabilityand communication throughout the company.

Dalgaard is well known in international film circles being amember of the board of the Swedish Film Institute, chairman of the NatFilm festival and vice president of EuropaDistribution.
