Korea’s 9ers Entertainment has scored a string of deals on sci-fi action title Ronin Pop and romantic drama Try To Remember.

Thailand’s M Pictures snapped up all rights to Ronin Pop, a Japanese production starring hot Korean boy band ZE:A. Directed by Keita Matsuda, the film’s Japanese release was delayed slightly due to the tsunami and nuclear crisis, but it’s now scheduled to open in June.

The film was also sold to PT Global for Indonesian TV rights and PT Duta Cahaya Utama for Indonesian home video rights.

M Pictures also acquired completed title Try To Remember, starring Park Jae-jung and Yoon Soi, which also went to Medallion Media for Japan, i-Cable for Hong Kong and PT Duta Cahaya Utama for Indonesia. Medallion also picked up 9ers’ The Devil’s Game.

9ers also recently added romantic comedy Never Ending Story, starring Uhm Tae-woong (Cyrano Agency), to its Cannes slate. The film, which starts shooting in July, follows a man and woman who find themselves shopping for their funeral goods together when they are diagnosed of terminal illness.
