La SagradaFamilia, the first feature film from Chileanwriter/director Sebastian Campos, has won the Grand Prix at the sixth Era NewHorizons Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland.

Otherhigh-scoring competition entries included Shinya Tsukamoto's Vital, Paz Encina'sHamaca Paraguaya,Alexander Sokurov's The Sun, the Quay Brothers' ThePiano Tuners Of Earthquakes and Alexey Guerman Jr's Garpastum.

Twoentries - Marek Stacharski'sFacing Up and PitorMatwiejczyk's Shame- were chosenby the international jury as winners of the festival's first New Polish Cinema competition.

Thefestival, which ran from July 20-30, featured 675 screenings of

522 films from 51 countries. It included a retrospective of Agnes Varda films, a presentation of Ingmar Bergman films introducedby Bibi Andersson, atribute to Armenian filmmaker Sergei Parajanov, and a focus on new Argentinian cinema.

EraNew Horizons sold 114,000 tickets for the festival, compared to 96,000 in 2005.In 2007, it will be held from July 19-29.
