Massimo Saidel'sMadrid-based sales outfit Latido has sold sexy Columbian-Spanish thriller TheArt Of Losing (Perder Es Questo De Metodo) to a slew of territories as a result of its world premiere as a midnightscreening in Venice and an official competition entry at the Montreal festival.

The film by Sergio Cabrera,which stars Martina Garcia and Bad Education's Daniel Gimenez Cacho, was soldto Quai Amerique for Canada, Les Films Sans Frontieres in France, CNC inBelgium and Mikado for Italy. "This film and Martina Garcia are so hot thatI've had offers on the strength of the poster alone," said Saidel.

He also reported thatFreudian comedy Unconscious(Inconscientes) , by Joaquin Oristrell, which plays in Toronto'sContemporary World Cinema section, had a strong opening in its native Spain,where it notched over $492,000 in ten days for distributor Alta Films.
