Madrid-based Latido Filmshas snared a US buyer for Maria Ripoll's comedy, Your Life In 65 Minutes. Strand Releasing has taken North American rights tothe film, which is on Latido's AFM slate.

"It gives us impetus goinginto the AFM. That's why we wanted to close it as soon as possible," a Latidospokesperson said of the deal, concluded last week. He also reported stronginterest from Germany, Scandinavia and Hungary on the title, aSpanish-Argentinian co-production about three young friends who go to the wrongfuneral.

The film, on Latido's AFMslate, was first shown to buyers at the Madrid screenings in June.

Ripoll previously enjoyedconsiderable success with Tortilla Soup (2001), an LA-set version of Ang Lee's EatDrink Man Woman.

Latido is giving marketpremieres to a number of new titles, among them Ariel Winograd's comedy CheeseCake, Cesc Gay's Fiction, Solveig Hoogersteijn's Maroa and Joaquin Oristrell's Nobody Is Perfect.
