New Line Cinemahas promoted Tracy Lorie to senior vice president, international publicity, andTrish Vasquez to director, international publicity, at the company. Inaddition, Kristi Foreman has joined the international publicity team asmanager, international publicity.

The promotions come in thewake of New Line's biggest ever year in international markets with a gross ofover $900m fueled by the first two films in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy: The Fellowship Of The Ring and The Two Towers.

Lorie reports directly toCam Galano, president of New Line International Releasing, and will continue toorchestrate publicity campaigns, talent tours and film festival appearances forall New Line international releases.

Vasquez takes on increased responsibilities in mediarelations and production publicity while supervising publicity tours andjunkets, working on film festivals and developing localized campaigns with internationaldistributors.

Foreman joinsthe team from the international marketing department at New Line and will beresponsible for coordinating all publicity materials and travel while assistingwith press tours and junkets.

Vasquez andForeman are based in the LA office and report directly to Lorie.

Lorie joined NewLine in 2000 from Junket Productions where she supervised domestic andinternational junkets and set satellite tours for various studios. Shepreviously held positions at 20th Century Fox and United Artists.

Vasquez joinedNew Line as a publicity assistant in 1997, and has been promoted tocoordinator, then manager.
