Lyle Lovett and Harry Dean Stanton have joined the cast of Michael Meredith's The Open Road which is currently in production in Louisiana and other parts of the south.

The film, produced by Odd Lott Entertainment, stars Jeff Bridges, Justin Timberlake, Kate Mara and Mary Steenburgen in the story of a young man trying to reconnect with his father as he struggles to get him home to his ailing mother's bedside.

Odd Lot principals Deborah Del-Prete and Gigi Pritzker are executive producing alongside Heidi Levitt and Scott MacFarland, while Justin Moore-Lewy and Charlie Mason of Perfect Weekend are producing with Meredith and Jordan Foley of Maximon Pictures and Laurie Foxx and David Schiff.

Wim Wenders is also acting as executive producer and visual consultant on the film.
