EXCLUSIVE: Korean sales company M-Line Distribution has sold penguin documentary Pengi And Sommi to Germany’s KSM and Motion Pictures for Spain.

Directed by Kim Jin-man and Kim Jae-young, the $3m doc was produced by Korea’s MBC and released theatrically in Korea last August.

Meanwhile M-Line has also sold Park Chul-soo’s erotic drama B.E.D. to Only Hearts for Japan, Sundream for Hong Kong and BK Cinewin for Singapore.

Sundream has also acquired Paik Sang-yeol’s erotic thriller Role Play, which also went to Cine Line Korea for Hong Kong. Lee Ji-seung’s thriller Azooma went to Hwa Yea for Malaysia and Brunei.

M-Line has also picked up two new titles – Kang Ji-na’s fantasy drama Dear Dolphin, about a man who loses touch with reality following the death of his girlfriend, and romantic comedy Marriage Blue, directed by Hong Ji-young.

Marriage Blue stars Kim Kang-woo and Kim Hyo-jin, who both starred in Im Sang-soo’s The Taste Of Money which played at Cannes last year.
