Medb Films has opened its new post-production studios in Ramsgate, Kent. The facilities include a 20-seat screening room/mixing studio, an HD Final Cut Pro edit suite and an Avid Media film composer. The studio facilities are based at a boutique hotel that can provide accomodations.

'We wanted to create a one-stop shop for other small indie companies like ourselves needing the all important last part of the puzzle by creating a low-cost, high-end facility aimed at other people like us,' said Medb producer Elaine Wickham.

Medb is also the production company behind Jan Dunn's Gypo and forthcoming Ruby Blue starring Bob Hoskins and Josiane Balasko.

Medb has already gotten three feature film bookings for the new facilities.

Dunn notes that the seaside town offers the chance to work in 'total focus without any disctractions.'
