As the AFM draws to a closetoday, Hong Kong's Media Asia has sealed several more sales on its upcomingAndrew Lau and Alan Mak title ConfessionOf Pain and Johnnie To's Exiled.

Italy's Lucky Red acquired cop drama ConfessionOf Pain, which stars Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Takeshi Kaneshiro, along with Turkey's Filma, Poland's Gutek, Thailand's WPM and Vietnam's Galaxy Studio.

The film was previouslypre-sold to 11 territories including France (MK2), Japan (Avex) and Australia (Hopscotch).

Scheduled for pan-Asian releaseon Dec 21, the film tells the story of a policeman (Leung) who enlists hisformer partner turned private detective (Kaneshiro) to help investigate thebrutal murder of his father-in-law.

Meanwhile, Media Asia alsosold Exiled, which recently premieredat Venice, to Spain's Gaia, Turkey's Kalinos, Poland's Gutek, Mexico's Arthouse and Budapest Film for Hungary.

The film was previouslypre-sold to around 20 distributors including Magnolia Pictures which hasEnglish-speaking territories.
