Menemsha Entertainment has closed a pre-sale of Juan Jose Campanella's Avellanada's Moon to Israel's United King just days before completion of principal photography.

United King, has previously bought two other Argentinian films - Campanella's Son Of The Bride and Marcelo Pineyro's Kamchatka - from Menemsha.

Beatrix Wesle of Menemsha closed the deal with Ilanit Edery of United King.

Meanwhile Menemsha has closed two French deals at the market. Son Of The Bride was sold to Colifilms for a Jan 2004 release and Francisco Lombardi's Captain Pantoja And The Special Services was sold to TV-OR for a release in 2004.

Menemsha is also handling international sales of Lombardi's latest film What The Eye Doesn't See, a thriller about corruption within Peruvian society.

Other Menemsha deals at MIFED include the sale of award-winning documentary Hitler's Secretary to Alfa in Argentina, Gil in Israel and Bergvik in Iceland.
