In a reorganisation of Disney's global publicity operation, Teri Meyer has been promoted to the newly-created position of executive vice president of worldwide publicity for Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing.

Meyer will be responsible for formulating and executing worldwide publicity campaigns for all live-action and animated motion pictures released under the Walt Disney Pictures (live action and animation), Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures banners.

She will report to Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing and Distribution president Mark Zoradi and president of domestic marketing Jim Gallagher.

Zoradi said Meyer 'has done an amazing job handling all of our international publicity campaigns over the past 12 years and has been instrumental in the division's unprecedented run of success at the box office.'

Meyer added: 'This new organization allows us to have greater impact and be more efficient with our worldwide publicity campaigns.'

Supporting Meyer will be Jasmine Madatian, who becomes senior vice president of domestic publicity for Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing, and Michelle Sewell, who moves up to senior vice president of international publicity.

Meyer has been senior vice president, international publicity, for Buena Vista International for the past ten years. Prior to Disney, she was senior vice president at Dennis Davidson & Associates and vice president, international publicity, at 20th Century Fox.

Madatian most recently served as senior vice president, publicity/promotions for Paramount Pictures.

Sewell has served as vice president of European publicity in Disney's London office since 1997. Prior to that, she held the posts of director, European publicity, and UK publicity manager.
