This year's MIFED film market in Milan will feature a new initiative, Agenda, under which film commissions from all over Europe will hold pre-scheduled meetings with producers.

The film commissions will offer detailed information on all phases of production in each country. Agenda workshops will also be held at MIFED, on October 30, aimed at helping film commissions better understand how to contact and work with producers.

According to Agenda organiser Alessandro Signetto, 25 international film commissions have been invited from France, Germany, Spain, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK and, of course, Italy. Italy will have the highest number of film commissions in attendance, with 12 scheduled to attend.

Agenda is being jointly funded by the Media Programme and the Italian Institute of Foreign Commerce. The MIFED film market will be held from October 29-November 2.
