The Dutch arm of broadcasting giant SBS has signed a multi-year output deal with Buena Vista International Television (BVI-TV) for terrestrial rights to all movies from Walt Disney Pictures.

The deal, which replaces an earlier pact due to expire next year, also covers titles from Walt Disney Co subsidiaries Hollywood Pictures, ABC and Touchstone. It also gives SBS access to animation series and other television product from the Disney library.

Titles covered by the deal include Pearl Harbour, 102 Dalmations, Gone In 60 Seconds, Mission To Mars, Unbreakable, The Kids, Shanghai Noon and Keeping The Faith.

SBS owns two Dutch channels - SBS6 and NET5.
