TheMIPCOM TV programmes market is to launch a series of awards for innovation inDVD content at its forthcoming show (4-8 October).

Organisedin partnership with the DVD Association (DVDA, USA) and the International VideoFederation (IVF) the prizes will be awarded in seven categories: TV series(English-language); TV series (original version non-English); children/youthfiction; children/youth animation; non-fiction (documentaries, sports, leisureetc. excluding music); feature film (English-language); feature film (originalversion other than English).

Aninternational jury chaired by IVF president Jean-Paul Commin will take intoconsideration factors including web features and interactivity, programmecontent restoration, special features, navigation and graphic design.
